Not only are freckles super cute, but they also give a youthful and natural Sunkissed appearance! Our semi-permanent freckle service last anywhere between 1-2 years depending on your skin type and lifestyle.

  • Facial skin in a good healthy condition

NON-IDEAL Candidate

The following clients are not ideal for Faux Freckles

  • Anyone under 18 years of age

  • Women who are Pregnant or Nursing

  • Anyone that is a Diabetic (We require physicians’ approval PRIOR to your appt.)

  • Anyone currently taking blood thinners (Must be off of blood thinners for at least 48hrs before & after your procedure. If medically necessary, we recommend speaking with your physician for approval)

  • Anyone whose had recent Botox injections/ Fillers (You must wait 2 weeks before having your face tattooed)

  • Anyone with a sunburned face (You must wait until your skin has fully healed)

  • Anyone taking Accutane (You must wait 1 year before tattooing the skin)

  • Anyone with excessively oily skin (Normal oily or combo skin is okay - Severely oily skin may not retain pigment as well and fade much faster)

  • Those suffering from the following skin conditions ON the face:

    • Eczema

    • Psoriasis

    • Keratosis Pilaris

    • Dermatitis

  • Anyone with severe scarring in the area wanting to be tattooed

  • Severe Acne

  • Drink lots of water and keep skin healthy and hydrated

  • Avoid tanning 1 week prior to your appointment

  • Avoid Retinol/ Vitamin A 1 week prior

  • Avoid alcohol, energy drinks, and coffee 24hrs before

  • Avoid taking any blood thinners such as Aspirin, etc. 72hrs prior

LET'S Talk Aftercare!

Below is a list of how to properly care for your new freckles.

  • Gently wash your face twice daily (morning and night) for 7 days with a mild face wash (Cetaphil)

  • No makeup, facial cleansers, moisturizers, or sunscreen for 7 days

  • Avoid using any harsh facial cleansers/scrubs once freckles are healed as this can cause premature fading. Retinols/ anti-aging products are also not recommended due to causing a high cell turnover.

  • Avoid suntanning and direct sun exposure for 2 weeks after your service

  • Wear a hat to help shield your face while outside

  • No picking, scratching, rubbing or touching your freckles during the healing process

  • After 1 week use sunscreen frequently to protect your freckles and reduce premature fading

  • Avoid swimming and sweating for 7 days

How long does Faux Freckles last?

Faux Freckles last an average of 1-2 years. Your aftercare, skin type and lifestyle all play a huge part in how long your freckles last

Does it look natural?

Yes, once your freckles are fully healed, they will soften and look very natural.

How do you choose your pigments/ colors?

We use a variety of brown pigments to create a very natural and realistic look for our clients.

Does it hurt?

Everybody’s pain tolerance is different so it’s hard to say exactly how each client will react, but most have said the pain is very minimal.

Can i return to work immediately after my procedure?

Yes! Our Faux Freckle services require no down time.

What should i expect during my appointment?

Prior to arriving for your appointment, you will fill out and submit your electronic consent forms. When you arrive, we will clean and remove all makeup and begin taking pictures. We will then discuss the number of freckles desired and placement. Next, we begin a pre draw of your future freckles, this is the most important part! Once the pre draw is done we will then have you look over them and make any necessary adjustments. We will NEVER move on to the next step until you are 100% SATISFIED. Once we are given the go ahead, we begin manually creating the freckles. After the first pass we apply a numbing solution and then finish the next couple passes applying additional numbing solution as needed. Once freckles are completed, we will take after pictures and go over after care. You’ll be a mild facial cleanser to use daily for 7 days. At this time, we will also schedule your touch up appointment.

Is the staff licensed, certified and insured?

Yes! Our artists are Insured, Licensed tattoo artist who are Certified in faux freckles, as well as Certified in bloodborne Pathogens. The Micro Clinics is Licensed by the State of Florida Department of Health.

Can i bring additional people to my appointment?

Because of our studio size we can only allow one additional person in the room with you. Unfortunately, we cannot allow children to accompany you to your appointment as a health and safety precaution.

***Due to COVID-19 we are currently not allowing additional into the studio. All additional guests will be asked to wait in your vehicle.

Cancellation Policy

We require all clients to give at least a 48hrs notice if you decide to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Due to the nature of our business it’s crucial you are on time for your appointment as we almost always have appointments booked back-to-back.
