Microblading
Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique used to create hair like strokes in the eyebrows. The technique requires the use of a hand tool with blades that consist of micro needles. At The Micro Brow we pride ourselves in our ability to give our clients eyebrows that appear Fuller, Defined, Symmetrical and most importantly Natural!
MicroShading
A COMBINATION OF MICROBLADING AND SPOT SHADING
THIS TECHNIQUE IS GREAT FOR THOSE IN NEED OF A LITTLE MORE DENSITY WHILE STILL WANTING THE NATURAL HAIR LIKE LOOK. WE START THE PROCESS BY MICROBLADING STROKES THROUGHOUT THE BROWS AND THEN COME IN AND SPOT SHADE GOING INBETWEEN STROKES WHERE FULLNESS IS DESIRED. UNLIKE MICROBLADING, SPOT SHADING IS DONE USING A MACHINE AND HIGH-QUALITY MICRO NEEDLES.

Frequently Asked Questions
We compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions for your convenience
How long does microblading last?
Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure and on average last 2 years. Of course, this all depends on your skin type, skin care and sun exposure. We do recommend clients book a color refresher between 18-30 months. Clients who have oily skin or spend a lot of time in the sun may need a touch up much sooner than clients who have drier skin types or who don’t spend as much time in the sun. At the end of the day skin type is what determines the longevity of your brows.
Does it hurt?
Everybody’s pain tolerance is different, but we have yet to have a client who wasn’t able to sit through the procedure. We do apply a highly effective numbing solution to help relieve some of the discomfort you might experience during the procedure.
Can i return to work immediately after my procedure?
Yes! Our Microblading services require no down time.
What should i expect during my appointment?
When you first arrive for your appointment, we will have you fill out a waiver. Once you’ve completed the waiver, we will then clean and remove all brow makeup and begin taking pictures. Next we begin mapping the brows. This is the most important and most time-consuming part! During this time, we correct, create symmetry and shape the brows. Once the outline is done, we will then have you look over them and make any necessary adjustments. We will NEVER move on to the next step till you are 100% SATISFIED with the outline. Once we are given the go ahead, we remove any hairs that fall outside of the outline and begin Microblading. After the first pass we apply a numbing solution and then finish the next couple passes applying additional numbing solution as needed. Once brows are completed, we will take after pictures and go over after care. You’ll be given a cream to apply daily. At this time, we will also schedule your touch up appointment.
What does daily maintenance look like?
Microblading will require touch ups once the brows have faded about 75% (Typically this falls around the 2 year mark). As for day-to-day maintenance, we recommend limiting sun exposure and applying sunscreen when outdoors. It is normal to still need to groom the brows with tweezers, waxing, threading, etc. to maintain your overall shape. Though Microblading is meant to limit the need for makeup, in some cases it may still be necessary to use makeup to help enhance your overall look depending on what your ultimate goal is (In most cases a simple clear brow gel can be used to redirect your natural eyebrow hairs).
Is the staff licensed, certified and insured?
Yes! Our artists are Insured, Licensed tattoo artist who are Certified in Microblading, as well as Certified in bloodborne Pathogens. The Micro Clinics is Licensed by the State of Florida Department of Health.
Can i bring additional people to my appointment?
Because of our studio size we can only allow one additional person in the room with you. Unfortunately, we cannot allow children to accompany you to your appointment as a health and safety precaution.
***Due to COVID-19 we are currently not allowing additional into the studio. All additional guests will be asked to wait in your vehicle.
