MICROBLADING FACTS

The ideal Microblading client will poses any of the following:
- Thin, Spares Brows
- Asymmetrical Brows (uneven or non-symmetrical)
- Full Brows that lack density
- Patchiness
- Alopecia
- Hair loss due to age or medical conditions
- Are wanting more shapely Brows
- Men who want fuller Brows that still look natural, realistic and MASCULINE
- Those looking to achieve the “perfect Brows” while still looking very NATURAL
The following clients would NOT be ideal for Microblading:
- Anyone under 18 years of age
- Women who are Pregnant or Nursing
- Anyone that is a Diabetic (We require physicians’ approval PRIOR to your appt.)
- Anyone currently taking blood thinners (Must be off of blood thinners for at least 48hrs before & after your procedure. If medically necessary, we recommend speaking with your physician for approval)
- Anyone whose had recent Botox injections (You must wait 2 weeks before having your Brows tattooed)
- Anyone with a sunburned face (You must wait until your skin has fully healed)
- Anyone taking Accutane (You must wait 1 year before tattooing the skin)
- Anyone currently using Latisse or similar hair growth serums (You must wait 3 months before we can tattoo your skin)
- Anyone with excessively oily skin (Normaloily or combo skin is okay - Severely oily skin may result in a more “powdered/ makeup” look once healed)
- Those suffering from the following skin conditions ON or NEAR the Brows:
  - Eczema
  - Psoriasis
  - Keratosis Pilaris
  - Dermatitis
- Anyone with severe scarring on their Brows
Here are a few tips to better prepare for your upcoming Microblading procedure
- Refrain from consuming any alcohol 24hrs before your appointment.
- Refrain from consuming any energy drinks or coffee on the day of your appointment.
- If you chose to wax your eyebrows prior to your scheduled appointment, please allow at least 5 days for your skin to heal.
- Refrain from taking any blood thinners including but not limited to: Ibuprofen, Advil, Aspirin, Aleve, Vitamin E and Fish oil.
- Refrain from suntanning, laser treatments, facials, derma rolling and chemical peels at least 7 days prior to your appointment.
- If you recently received Botox, please wait at least 3 weeks before getting your eyebrows Microbladed.
If you experience any acne outbreaks or suffering from skin irritations in the eyebrow region days prior to your appointment, contact us immediately so our artist can decide the best solution for you.

Aftercare is extremely important when it comes to achieving great results! Here is a list of our dos and don’ts when it comes to your aftercare
DO…
- Make sure you keep your eyebrows DRY for 10 days!
- Be VERY careful when showering or washing your face making sure not to get water on your Brows!
- Make sure you apply a VERY THIN layer of the provided aftercare cream with a Q-Tip or clean dry hands.
- Make sure to AVOID the following for 10 DAYS….
  - Swimming.
  - Exercising.
  - Sun or salon tanning.
  - Hot tubs or saunas.
  - Any laser or chemical treatments.
  - Drinking alcohol in excess.
  - Deep Cleaning that can put you in contact with any airborne debris.
- Do use PROTECTIVE WEAR such as a hat and/or large sunglasses when out to prevent premature fading.
- Do apply sunscreen to your brows if outside 10 days AFTER your procedure or wait until all flaking & scabbing has subsided.
DON’T…
- Touch, Scratch, pick or rub your eyebrows until ALL scabbing and flaking has subsided (Typically 10 days).
- Apply makeup, moisturizers, face wash or sunscreen to your Brows for at least 10 days.

HOW LONG DOES MICROBLADING LAST?

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure that typically lasts around two years, though results vary based on individual factors such as skin type, skincare routine, and sun exposure. We recommend scheduling a color refresher every 18–36 months to maintain your ideal brow color and shape. Clients with oily skin or frequent sun exposure may notice faster fading, while those with drier skin types often retain pigment longer. Ultimately, skin type and aftercare play the biggest role in determining how long your brows will stay fresh and defined.
DOES MICROBLADING HURT?

Pain tolerance varies from person to person, but most clients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the Microblading procedure is. At The Micro Clinics we use a high-quality topical numbing solution to minimize discomfort and ensure you remain relaxed throughout your appointment. While you may feel slight pressure or scratching, the experience is typically very manageable — even for those with low pain tolerance.
CAN I RETURN TO WORK IMMEDIATELY AFTER MY PROCEDURE?

Yes! There is no downtime after your Microblading appointment. You can return to work or your normal daily activities right away — just be sure to follow your aftercare instructions closely to ensure optimal healing and color retention.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY MICROBLADING APPOINTMENT?

Your visit starts with a gentle brow cleanse before photos, a consult and then brow mapping — the most important part of the process. During this stage, your artist carefully measures, shapes, and designs your brows to create natural, symmetrical, and hyper-realistic results customized to your facial structure.
We’ll review the outline together, and we never move forward to the next step until you are 100% confident and satisfied with the shape we’ve created. Once approved, we begin the Microblading procedure, applying a professional-grade numbing solution throughout to ensure your comfort. When your brows are complete, we’ll take after photos, review your aftercare instructions, and provide you with a complimentary aftercare products. Before you leave, we’ll also schedule your touch-up appointment to ensure your results heal evenly and beautifully.
*We ask that all clients complete their waiver form prior to their appointment so we can begin your service promptly at your scheduled start time.
WHAT DOES DAILY MAINTENANCE LOOK LIKE?

Microblading may require a touch-up once your brows have faded around 75%, typically near the 2–3 year mark. We emphasize not rushing touch-ups, as doing them too soon can lead to oversaturation of pigment and make it difficult to maintain crisp, natural-looking strokes over time. For daily upkeep, we recommend limiting sun exposure, applying sunscreen, and continuing to groom brows with tweezing, waxing, or threading as needed. While Microblading reduces the need for makeup, products like a clear brow gel can be used to tame hairs or enhance your overall look depending on your desired style.
ARE THE ARTIST LICENSED, CERTIFIED AND INSURED?

Yes! All of our artists at The Micro Clinics are licensed tattoo artists, certified in Permanent Makeup and Scalp Micropigmentation, and trained in bloodborne pathogens. Our studio is fully licensed by the Florida Department of Health, ensuring the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and professionalism.
CAN I BRING ADDITIONAL PEOPLE TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Guests are welcome to wait in our client lobby, but due to limited space we ask that you limit it to ONE guest only. Due nature of our services, we cannot allow additional people in the treatment room during your appointment. For the safety and comfort of all clients, children are not permitted to accompany you during your appointment.
CANCELLATION POLICY

We require all clients to provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Due to the nature of our business and our tightly scheduled appointments, it is crucial that clients arrive on time. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate clients who are more than 10 minutes late, as this impacts subsequent appointments and the quality of service we provide.
